    Crews respond to working fire at Sunset Ellis in Shinnston

    SHINNSTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — An official with the Harrison County 911 Center confirmed to 12 News that all crews have returned after a fire broke out at the Sunset Ellis Restaurant in Shinnston.

    SHINNSTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — A 12 News reporter on the scene of a fire at the Sunset Ellis Restaurant has confirmed that U.S. Route 19/Shinnston Pike is still open as of 7:05 p.m.

    SHINNSTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — Emergency crews are currently on the scene of a reported fire at the Sunset Ellis Restaurant in Shinnston.

    According to the Harrison County 911 Media Log, at around 6:33 p.m., crews from several departments were called to a report of a fire at the Sunset Ellis Restaurant in Shinnston. Crews on the scene confirmed a working fire and that the restaurant was empty.

    The Spelter Volunteer Fire Department, Reynoldsville Fire Department, Nutter Fort Fire Department, Shinnston Volunteer Fire Department and the Bridgeport Fire Department are on the scene alongside Harrison EMS and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.

    12 News has a reporter en route to the scene to gather more information.
