West Virginia Society for Respiratory Care Delegate Cynthia Keely told 12 News that the COVID-19 pandemic spurred greater need and interest in the respiratory field. “The need for respiratory therapists are great, and there’s a lot of companies and products that are available that go along with what care is provided by respiratory therapist,” she said.

The West Virginia Society for Respiratory Care said that Thursday’s conference is the largest one that it’s ever held with more than 200 people in attendance.
