    Two transported after Emily Drive vehicle accident

    Update: 9/15/2024 — Two people were transported following a two-vehicle accident with entrapment Saturday evening.

    The Harrison County 911 log states that two patients were transported to the United Hospital Center. No information on their condition was available.

    Emily Drive has since reopened.

    Original: CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Multiple departments are currently on the scene of a two-vehicle accident that included entrapment.

    The Harrison County 911 log states that the call came in at 6:54 p.m. regarding a vehicle accident with injuries. When the Clarksburg Fire Department arrived on scene they observed “heavy damage” the log states. A 911 official confirmed that the roadway is currently shut down.

    The log also states that the extrication of someone from one of the vehicles has been completed.

    Anmoore, Clarksburg and Nutter Fort fire departments, along with the Clarksburg Police Department, Anmoore and Nutter Fort EMS responded to the incident.
