BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Harrison County rest areas on both north and southbound lanes of I-79 will be temporarily closed next week for crews to work on water issues.

A press release from the West Virginia Department of Transportation states that the northbound rest area will be closed on Monday, Sept. 23 and will reopen the following day.

I-79 South reopened early after acid spill

The southbound rest area will then be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 24 and will also reopen the next day.
