One dead following motorcycle accident in Harrison County

MOUNT CLARE, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was declared dead at the scene of a motorcycle accident in Mount Clare.

According to the Harrison County 911 responding agencies were made aware of an accident at 2:28 a.m. on Saturday near the 4700 block of Mount Clare Rd. A 911 official confirmed that one person was dead on scene. A medical examiner was called to the accident to confirm.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating.

In addition to the medical examiner and sheriff’s office, the Mount Clare Fire Department and Harrison County EMS also responded.
