    US Marshals searching for fugitive in north central West Virginia

    CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — The US Marshals Service is requesting help from the public in locating a fugitive last seen in north central West Virginia who is wanted on drug charges.

    According to a press release, US Marshals are searching for Michael Daryl Long Jr, 38, who is wanted on possession with intent to distribute meth charges, conspiracy to commit malicious assault on a correctional employee and parole violations.

    Long was also the subject of an incident in Harrison County in 2018 where deputies allegedly found him asleep in his vehicle with various drugs, including meth, inside.

    Long stands at around 5 foot 7 inches, has brown hair, blue eyes and weighs around 150 pounts. He also goes by “Lil’ Mike.” Officials said that Long has a history of drug possession, fleeing from law enforcement and resisting arrest.
