3 transported following vehicle accident in Harrison County

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — A two-vehicle accident in Bridgeport has resulted in multiple injuries.

According to the Harrison County 911 log officials were alerted to a vehicle accident on West Main Street in Bridgeport at 5:40 p.m. on Saturday. A 911 official confirmed that three patients were transported by ambulance to receive further treatment.

One lane of the road was closed but has since reopened.

Bridgeport police and fire departments, along with Bridgeport and Anmoore EMS, responded to this incident.
