    Wreck shuts down road in Meadowbrook, possible injuries

    MEADOWBROOK, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was reportedly injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle vehicle accident in Meadowbrook that has shut down a main road in the area.

    According to the Harrison County 911 Media Log, at around 3:52 p.m., crews were alerted to a vehicle accident with injuries on Meadowbrook Road. West Virginia 511 data shows that the accident occurred near the intersection of Meadowbrook Road and U.S. 19/Shinnston Pike.

    Officials said that the person who was injured refused to be transported by EMS, but that Meadowbrook Road is currently shut down. Crews with the Spelter Fire Department, Harrison County EMS and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to this call.
