MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Monongalia County Health Department (MCHD) is offering veterans free dental services on Nov. 8 in celebration of Veterans Day.

According to a Facebook post from the MCHD, MCHD Dentistry will be offering free checkups and cleanings from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 8. Some restorative work may also be available “depending on the situation.”

If you’re a veteran in need of dental services, you can call MCHD Dentistry at 304-598-2108 to schedule an appointment.

MCHD Dentistry has held free dental care events in the past, usually for uninsured children or adults in the community.

Last year it received two $50,000 grants from Highmark and Delta Dental, allowing it to expand its dental services by adding two more dental operatories, a sterilization lab and new equipment.
