    New partnership rebrands Mylan Park Aquatic Center

    MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Morgantown Area Partnership cut the ribbon on Thursday for the newly-named Peak Health Aquatic Center at Mylan Park.

    The name change reflects a new partnership between WVU Medicine, its health insurance company Peak Health and Mylan Park. As a part of the partnership, anyone who has an insurance plan with Peak Health will also gain access to the Mylan Park recreation facilities.

    New Morgantown shelter aims to create space where people can thrive

    Peak Health CEO Ben Gerber explained that in addition to facilitating the care of sick patients, he hopes that Peak Health will invest in proactive measures, such as a fitness center, to improve people’s health.

    “Ultimately, that’s what we care about. Peak Health and WVU Medicine.” Gerber said. “Doing everything that we can to keep people healthy and help promote a healthy lifestyle.”

    The Track and Field Complex now has Peak Health’s name, and the waterslide area has WVU Medicine Childrens’.
