    2 transported following vehicle accident on US 50 West

    SALEM, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people were taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident on US 50 with entrapment.

    The Harrison County 911 log shows the accident occurred just before 3 p.m. on US Highway 50 West.

    Fire departments respond to Shinnston house explosion

    Harrison County 911 officials confirmed the accident happened at mile marker 66, two people were transported to UHC by ambulance for further treatment and that at least one lane was closed while crews worked.

    Fire departments from Bridgeport, Mount Clare, Salem and Stonewood, along with the Salem Police Department and EMS, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and EMS, the Doddridge County Ambulance Authority and the West Virginia Division of Highways responded to this incident.
