GRAFTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — The Battle of the Blue Grass Fire Fighters Full Pull is hosting a two-day truck and tractor pull at the Taylor County Fairgrounds this weekend.

Organizers said the pull is a fundraiser for the fire department and that they are fortunate to have great weather conditions for it. On the hill behind the pull, there were plenty of concession stands for those needing a bite of food and something cold to drink. Admission to the pull is $20 or a two-day pass could be purchased for $30.

“So, a little something for everybody, gas trucks, diesel trucks, smoker tractors, outlaw tractors, we, we got an assortment. Then tomorrow night outside of the pro start gas trucks we will run those same tractor classes, plus we’ll run street semis, we will run pro street 360 semis, and a pro stock 4.1 semis,” Promoter and Captain of the Fellowsville Volunteer Fire Department Pete Frazier said.

In past years the Battle of the Blue Grass Fire Fighters Full Pull has hosted trucks and tractors from approximately 13 states. Organizers added that the pull is the biggest truck and tractor pull in the state.
