    Pioneer Nights Festival kicks off in Carbondale

    CARBONDALE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Wednesday was the first night of the Annual Pioneer Nights Festival in Carbondale.

    This year marks the 21st Annual Pioneer Nights.

    The festival features a wide variety of activities like music games, rides, and plenty of good food.

    Olyphant officials to rededicate train station

    The festival will showcase everything the city has to offer during an annual end-of-summer celebration.

    It also gives the people of Carbondale the opportunity to celebrate their heritage.

    Pioneer Nights will run Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
