    Police investigation underway in Pocono Township

    POCONO TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials confirm there’s a heavy police presence in the area of Pocono Township.

    Details are limited at the time, however, 28/22 News can confirm officials are in the area of Brookdale Road just after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

    PD: Deadly shooting near Northumberland County Courthouse

    Officials could not say why police were on the scene or if anyone was injured.
