HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– The Pennsylvania State Capitol Building was evacuated this morning due to a power outage, abc27 reports.

Officials tell abc27 that the main building was cleared out and that power was going in and out in other buildings throughout the complex.

A faint smell of smoke in the building’s halls is being reported. Officials say people are slowly being let back into the building.

At this time, there is no word on the cause of the building’s power outage.

This is a developing story. abc27 news will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

All the funds and budgets and they don’t have backup power to keep our state government running . Politicians look for any way to get paid time off at the cost of taxpayers…..
