PD: Motorcycle rider wanted for fleeing area of Wilkes-Barre shooting

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Investigators are searching for a motorcycle rider who allegedly fled the scene of a shooting in Wilkes-Barre Sunday.

According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, on August 18 around 2:40 a.m., an unknown man on a motorcycle was seen fleeing the area of a reported shooting.

Police say the suspect fled from offices onto I-476 in the wrong direction and discarded items onto the roadway.

Officers noted the suspect is to be considered armed and dangerous.
