104th Greater Pittston Chamber Annual Dinner held in Exeter

EXETER, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Dozens came together to honor a business that is a pillar in the community.

It’s the greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce’s 104th Annual Dinner.

The event was held at the Fox Hill Country Club in Exeter, where attendees could mingle and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and presentations.

FNC B Bank was named the Greater Pittston Area Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Business of the Year.

The bank opened in 1910 as the First National Bank of Dunmore.

Every year the award is presented to a business that helps with economic growth by creating jobs and providing resources and opportunities to local businesses.

“It gives us an opportunity to really focus on one of our members who has really come above and beyond and has supported the business community in a way that deserves some semblance of recognition,” said Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce President Michelle Mikitish.

The Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1920 with the goal of creating economic and social development growth in the Pittston area.
