Pennsylvania snack food company sold, closing facility

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Stuffed Puffs, a Pennsylvania-based snack food company, will close its Bethlehem facility after being purchased by a manufacturer in Texas.

According to the Department of Labor & Industry, Stuffed Puffs, LLC, which is located at 3910 Stuffed Puffs Place in Bethlehem, recently submitted a WARN notice ahead of its upcoming closure.

Stuffed Puffs is most known for offering a wide variety of stuffed marshmallows, including its Classic Milk Chocolate marshmallows, Salted Caramel, Birthday Cake, and a lot more.

The WARN notice says that as a result of this closure, 106 employees will be affected, and the closure will take place starting on October 26 and will wrap up on November 9. According to Stuffed Puff’s website “all of our products are made at our factory in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.”

The announced closure comes after Stuffed Puffs, LLC was purchased by Mount Franklin Foods, LLC, which is based in El Paso, Texas. According to the news release, this acquisition is effective immediately and includes the assets from Stuffed Puffs’ Bethlehem facility.
