WEATHERLY, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a traffic stop led to several bags of meth seized and a driver facing various charges.

According to the Weatherly Police Department, on September 3 officers pulled over a car with an expired registration.

Officers said the driver, Michael Lyons, 41, of McAdoo, was driving with a DUI-suspended license and he allegedly showed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Lyons was released after receiving an unsecured bail of $10,000.

WTF is "intentional possession"? That's definitely a new one. Plus, it's redundant AF. There's crooks on both sides these days.
