    Man sentenced for theft from youth sports organization

    MIDDLEBURG, SNYDER COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Snyder County man has pleaded guilty to stealing over $40,000 from the Midd-West Youth Football and Cheer Association.

    Randy Kline, 48, stole over $40,000 spanning two years while a member of the Association according to the District Attorney’s Office.

    Man wanted for allegedly intimidating a witness

    According to a release, Kline was in charge of equipment purchases for the student-athletes at Midd-West and utilized the association’s bank account and debit card for personal use, and to support his gambling addiction.

    During the two years Kline replaced approximately $18,000. Kline had paid the remaining $22,000 back to the Association prior to the date of sentencing in accordance with an agreement with the Commonwealth.

    Kline was sentenced to seven years probation.
