Erie, Pa ( WJET/WFXP ) — A fire fully involved a home in Erie overnight, leaving a four-year-old dead, another child and a firefighter injured.

According to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook, a four-year-old boy has died as a result of the fire. A second child was taken to UPMC Hamot to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The other occupants had made it out safely. One firefighter was injured after falling through the porch and was taken to the hospital.

Multiple calls for the fire came in just before 1 am for a home in the 500 block of East 4th Street. It took crews two hours to get the fire under control.

The fire inspector and the K9 unit have since been dispatched to the scene to investigate the fire.

No parents in the house, or an adult? If that's the case they need to go to prison for murder. 25 to life should teach them!
