State police involved shooting under investigation

WOLF TOWNSHIP, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials confirmed a state police-involved shooting is under investigation in Lycoming County .

The Lycoming County Coroner Charles Kiessling confirmed with 28/22 News the office is investigating a state-police-involved shooting of a man in his 60s.

The shooting occurred Saturday, September 7 at a mobile home on Boak Avenue in Wolf Township.

Authorities say this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.

The autopsy is scheduled for Monday. 28/22 News will update this story as details are released.
