Knoebels wins ‘Best in the World’ in two categories

ELYSBURG, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Knoebels Amusement Resorts has been named #1 in the world in two categories at t he Golden Ticket Awards .

The Phoenix was named the #1 wooden roller coaster in the world for the sixth time.

The park also won Best Food, which Knoebels has received 21 times in 24 years.

“Rarely am I at a loss for words, but I found myself speechless when I learned they introduced 40 brand new menu items,” said Brian Knoebel, 4th generation Knoebel family member.

The park received finalist nominations in other categories including #4 in Best Park, #4 in Best Guest Experience, and #28 and #31 in Top 50 Wooder Roller Coasters for Twister and Flying Turns.
