    Sunbury shooting case heading to trial

    SUNBURY, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — New information has been released involving two people charged in connection with a deadly shooting right outside the Sunbury Courthouse.

    A judge has decided there is enough evidence to head to trial.

    Carnel Shelbourne Jr. and Naseir Robinson are facing charges stemming from a shooting that happened on August 15. However, the charges for terroristic threats, have been dropped.

    Due to the fatal shooting, the trial of Franky Riche and Anthony Moultrie was declared a mistrial.

    Shelbourne and Robinson have been denied bail and remain in police custody.

    There is no word yet on when the trial will begin.

    Meanwhile, Denarii Springs, the suspected shooter, is still at large.
