    Several businesses cited for alleged liquor violations

    HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Local police along with the Pennsylvania State Police Liquor Control Enforcement (LCE) conducted compliance checks that resulted in seven businesses in Luzerne County being cited for violations.

    According to the Hazleton Police Department, on September 15 officers inspected multiple businesses in the Hazleton area.

    11 businesses cited for alleged liquor violations

    Investigators stated the LCE cited the following businesses for violations:

    • Eros Cafe:
      • Loud music was observed and the owner will be cited for disorderly conduct.
    • Kayro Lounge and Restuarunt LLC (Kayro’s Lounge):
      • Violation of loud music, smoking in a prohibited establishment, and permitting liquor to go.
    • Angelo Bellucci (Angel’s):
      • Selling alcohol with an expired liquor license, loud music, and smoking in a prohibited establishment.
    • Fiesta Sports Barr LLC:
      • Loud music and Clean Indoor Air Act violations.
    • Crystal Food Service, Inc (Malaia Lounge):
      • Selling alcohol with an expired liquor license, loud music, and smoking in a prohibited establishment.
    • 511 Broad, Inc (Flow X):
      • The manager/owner failed to take the required training classes required by the LBC.
    • Mambo Cafe (Elite Nightclub):
      • Violation of their conditional licensing agreement and failing to place the license in safekeeping as required.

    The listed bars will be cited for one or more violations found by the LCE.

    It is not understood why a citation is for low music when it should be for high music. Here in Hazleton the police are outside the bar to chase whoever leaves the bar and gives you one DUI. In Allentown and Reading they (police) are outside to avoid problems at closing time.
