Police said Early immediately fled the car and tried to flee the scene when he saw officers approaching.

Early was eventually arrested and he was found to be listed as armed and dangerous with an active arrest warrant out of Philadelphia, officers reported. Investigators stated Early was wanted for the alleged rape of a 7-year-old child.

Early was arraigned at the Luzerne County Central Court and denied bail for being a flight risk and a threat to the community.
