    PSP investigates $1.4K worth of unpaid McDonald’s orders

    HAZLE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report they are investigating a fraud where over $1,400 worth of McDonald’s orders were bought with an expired credit card.

    According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were called to the 400 block of Hunter Highway in Butler Township for an issue with mobile app orders.

    Eight arrested during DUI checkpoints

    Police say an unidentified suspect used an expired credit card to make numerous mobile orders on the McDonalds App.

    The transactions accumulated to around $1,416.99 in unpaid orders.

    State police are continuing to investigate.
