    PD: Man crashes car, flees from police pursuit in Wyoming County

    TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities in Tunkhannock Township arrested a man after they say he crashed his car during a pursuit Thursday.

    Tunkhannock Township Police say they were looking for Joshua Whitmire after a bench warrant was issued for Whitmire on Thursday when he didn’t appear in court for numerous PFA violations.

    Thursday evening, Whitmire was seen driving a white car and Tunkhannock Township Police tried to stop him.

    Police say Whitmire fled, eventually crashed his car on Dark Hollow Road, and was last seen running into the woods behind the cemetery heading towards Windswept Road.

    As of Friday officers reported that Whitmire has been arrested.

    He only made it a mile, they found him in the top of an old silo lol. needed the fire company to get him down
