BB gun shooting under investigation in Hazleton

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they are investigating a BB gun shooting in Hazleton Friday afternoon.

According to the Hazleton City Police, officers were called to West 10th Street and North Locust Street for a possible gunshot victim.

Police say they learned that a group was sitting outside when the victim felt a sharp pain on the right side.

The victim had a small puncture wound consistent with a shot from a BB gun, officers said and he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Inveistgators noted that officers did serve a search warrant on ahome in the same area where the suspected shot was fired from. At this time no arrest has been made.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

not surprised there especially when school is back as if the school is going to protect those who was involved with the incident hopefully the law enforcement caught up with those responsible if not they will probably do it again
