    Honoring young professionals in Scranton

    SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — In Lackawanna County, it was a night to honor young professionals who are pillars in our community.

    This year’s Ninth Annual Young Professionals Awards were held at Montage Mountain Resort in Scranton.

    The event was held by Coal Creative and five regional chambers.

    Learning with hockey school and STEM game in Wilkes-Barre

    Thursday’s event showcased young talent and leadership all around NEPA, honoring people who made a significant impact.

    Categories include Cultural Champion of the Year, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion of the Year.

    “This event aims to highlight young professionals in the region and curtain great things that move our area forward. So it’s a good way shed some light on them alert our community about what we’re doing,” said Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce Director Ahmad Ali.

    Congratulations to PA live! co-host Chris Bohinski who won the award for Influencer of the Year.
