    Man arrested after alleged shots fired in Scranton

    SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— One man has been arrested in connection with multiple reports of shots fired Sunday morning.

    Police say 38-year-old Rashaad Ryans was criminally charged with Persons not to Possess, manufacture, Control, Sell, or Transfer Firearms, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and a Misdemeanor charge of Disorderly Conduct.

    According to a release by the Scranton Police Department, police were dispatched just after 6:00 a.m. to the area of Davis Street and Colliery Avenue for multiple reports of shots fired.

    When on-scene, police found several shell casings in the driveway of 233 Sycamore Lane, an apartment within the Laurel Woods Development.

    Officials say they developed a subject identified as Ryans after investigation, and later found a firearm at the scene.

    There are no reports of injuries or damage, according to Scranton Police Department.

    Ryans is currently being held at Lackawanna County Prison.
