Laughing out loud! Charlotte ALSO is listed on another survey of one of the top cities people are fleeing from due to high crime. Lived too close to it for too long!

I am a native Charlottean! And, some 49 years ago, I saw our growth and potential to compete with the likes of such great places as DC and Atlanta in overall being one of the best southern cities because of our hospitality and charm! I just knew that it would take a lot of people to get use to the new kid on the geographical map(block)! But, we have grown and people have grown on us! Not only being one of the major gateway cities to the south! But, one of the cleanest places to live and raise a family!
