    Coroner identifies woman killed in shooting near Loris Bojangles; suspect arrested in North Carolina

    LORIS, S.C. (WBTW) — The Horry County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman killed and a suspect remains in custody in North Carolina after a deadly shooting Wednesday afternoon near the Bojangles restaurant in Loris.

    Kenasia Martin, 22, of Greensboro, North Carolina, died in the shooting, Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden said.

    Another woman was injured and taken to a local hospital, Loris Police Chief Gary Buley said. It happened at about 2 p.m.

    Authorities have not released the name of the suspect, who was arrested in Columbus County, North Carolina. Buley said police are working on extraditing the suspect to Horry County to face charges.
