Robeson County deputies arrest four teens in connection with car theft

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) — Four teens face a string of felony charges in Robeson County including reckless driving and larceny in connection with a stolen vehicle, authorities said.

Deputies spent five hours on Friday scouring wooded areas near Rennert after a vehicle and foot chase. One suspect was caught near Jacqueline Drive, another on Nantucket Road and a third on Great Marsh Church Road.

A fourth teen was arrested at his home.

All are charged with fleeing and eluding arrest, reckless driving, felony conspiracy, breaking and entering and felony larceny. They’re currently being held at the Cumberland Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are likely.
