SOCASTEE, S.C. (WBTW)– Bringing out the community for a fun filled day, Elko Spas, Billiards and Pools on Saturday hosted its fourth annual pep rally and festival.

Liam Depalma attended with his family for the first time.

“I’m having fun, this place is great,” he said.

There were various vendors, food from Bojangles, face paintings, pet adoptions and proceeds being raised for Shepherd’s Table charity.

This year, Elko celebrated 20 years on the Grand Strand, and families came out to join in the festivities and celebration.

“It’s such a blessing and I just feel as if its like our first day,” said Co-owner Kimberly Elko. “We are just going strong and working hard as always. We see a lot of familiar faces, a lot of customers are here and we have our tremendous Elko staff so its just wonderful that we can do this for the community.”

Kimberly Elko said if you missed out on the event this year, there is always next year as they plan to continue the annual pep rally and festival for all the community to enjoy.
