    Horry County business briefly evacuated after suspicious odor

    HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — An Horry County business near Surfside Beach was briefly evacuated Wednesday night after an HVAC system malfunctioned.

    It happened just after 7:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of Glenns Bay Road. Authorities said the scene was quickly secured but a business was briefly evacuated for safety.

    The Surfside Beach Fire Department assisted.
