    1 hurt in Myrtle Beach shooting, police say

    MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was taken to the hospital Thursday night after a shooting in Myrtle Beach, police said.

    Officers were called at about 9:30 p.m. to the 3000 block of Highway 17 Bypass near the Super 8 motel. A video posted on YouTube and TikTok by a News13 viewer using the screen name “Thee iPhone Guru” shows Myrtle Beach and Horry County authorities working at the scene.

    Police have not released any information about the investigation, including the victim’s condition or details about any possible suspects.

    Police said there will be an increased presence in the area while officers continue their in investigation.
