DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Darlington County crews are continuing work to suppress a landfill fire on Friday evening, officials said.

The Darlington County Emergency Management Department said at about 5 p.m. that mutual aid has been requested for “manpower support through the South Carolina Firefighter Mobilization program.” The department said county roads and bridges as well as the Darlington County landfill are supporting suppression activities.
