    Vehicle submerged in Horry County pond had nobody inside it, authorities say

    HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A vehicle submerged in a pond off Highway 17 in Horry County had no occupants inside of it, authorities said on Friday.

    Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the 3900 block of S. Commons Drive at 11:51 a.m. There were no occupants in the car and it was towed from the water.

    I saw it. there was a lady driving it and she got out and walked away. when I came around the corner the car was over the curb facing the pond. Then all of a sudden it rolled into the pond, she got out and walked away towards lowes building supply.
