Florence County deputies look for truck stop armed robbery suspect

COWARD, S.C. (WBTW) — The Florence County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect in a truck stop armed robbery that happened early Friday morning.

The masked suspect entered the Coward Truck Stop on Highway 52 and allegedly forced the clerk to open the cash register. They took an undetermined amount of cash and ran from the scene, deputies said.

The suspect was wearing all black, with a hoodie and a black facemask.
