    One person in custody after deadly Sunday morning shooting in Darlington

    DARLINGTON, S.C. (WBTW) — A Darlington man died Sunday morning shortly after he was shot along Main Street.

    Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee said Tyshaun J. Johnson, was pronounced dead at the scene around 2:30 a.m. The incident occurred just after 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of South Main Street.

    Later in the day, Darlington Police Capt. Kimberly Nelson said a person was in custody, and the victim’s vehicle struck a building. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating.

    Hardee said an autopsy is planned later this week. No further information was immediately available.
