Bicyclist killed Sunday afternoon in Florence County wreck, authorities say

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A bicyclist was killed Sunday afternoon along Vox Highway in Florence County, authorities said.

It happened around noon near Mill Branch Road outside of Johnsonville. A pickup truck traveling eastbound hit the cyclist, who was going the same direction.

Two people in the pickup were uninjured.

The wreck remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Count on News13 for updates.
