    Man stole safe with $41K out of car’s trunk at Atlantic Beach gentlemen’s club, warrants say

    ATLANTIC BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The Atlantic Beach Police Department has arrested a man who allegedly stole about $41,000 in cash out of the trunk of a car parked outside Thee DollHouse gentlemen’s club, warrants show.

    Jonathan Gerard Laurent, 28, was in the parking lot at Thee DollHouse gentlemen’s club on Friday, warrants show. Security footage showed him taking a black safe with the cash out of the car’s trunk.

    He was charged with grand larceny value of $10,000 or more and breaking into a motor vehicle and booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center early Saturday morning, according to online records. He posted bond and was released Monday morning.

    Why do you steal $41,000 and stay in the smae area? My ass would've been GONE the next day. Sure, they may have caught me eventually, but it wouldn't have been the MB area.
