28-year-old dies in head-on Marion County crash, coroner says

MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 28-year-old woman was killed Sunday morning in a head-on crash outside of Marion, authorities said.

Dewanda Scott of Mullins was killed in the crash, Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson said.

It happened shortly before 10 a.m. on Senator Gasque Road, about 1.5 miles outside of city limits, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Another person was hurt, but their condition was not immediately available.
