    Collision between motorcycle and deer leaves man dead, South Carolina Highway Patrol says

    HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 58-year-old Conway man was killed early Monday morning in Horry County when his motorcycle hit a deer, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

    William Pryor was driving a 2013 Honda motorcycle east around 1:30 a.m. on Old Bucksville Road near Keysfield Circle, about 8 miles south of Conway, according to SCHP. The motorcycle went off the right side of the road into a ditch.

    Pryor died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center at 4:15 a.m., authorities said.

    The highway patrol is investigating.
