MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Happy Saturday everyone! We have a beautiful weekend shaping up across the area. I think it is much deserved after the past 24-36 hours. We will see high pressure in control of our weather not only this weekend, but into early next week as well.

Saturday will feature a lot of sunshine. A few afternoon clouds will pop up, but for the overall general scheme we will go with mostly sunny skies. High temperatures today will reach the mid to upper 80s across the Pee Dee and the Coastal areas. Tonight, we could see a few high level clouds move in, as flow shifts to the southwest. Besides that, we will see a calm evening. Temperatures will fall into the upper 60s across the Pee Dee to low 70s along the coast.

Sunday will be much like Saturday. We will see mostly sunny skies, maybe a few more clouds. Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 80s across the area. We will see a bit more humidity, so those heat index values may reach into the 90s. So in-part, this weekend will have a very summery feel to it.

As we head into next week, we will see a continuation of the mostly to partly sunny skies. Temperatures starting the week will be in the mid to upper 80s. Again a little humidity in the air will make feel like temperatures into the low 90s. A dry cold front will move through the area starting Wednesday. Temperatures will lower after that. Wednesday through Friday will feature temperatures in the low 80s, and overnight lows in the 60s close to 70.
