Six hurt in multi-vehicle wreck on Highway 17, authorities say

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Six people were hurt in a multi-vehicle wreck near Coventry Road on Saturday afternoon, officials said.

It happened just after 3 p.m. along the Highway 17 Bypass. The state Highway Patrol and Horry County Police Department are investigating.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
