    South Carolina DOT holds drop-in meeting on Florence County project

    FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — The South Carolina Department of Transportation is holding a drop-in public information meeting in Florence County for a corridor improvement project.

    The meeting will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 17 at The Continuum Learning Center in Lake City, SCDOT said. SCDOT officials will be available to discuss the proposed project with community members.

    The proposed project is to conduct a corridor improvement on Highway 52 (Ron McNair Boulevard) from S. Church Street to Elizabeth Anne Court in Lake City. Public comments will be accepted from Thursday until Nov. 1.
