DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Darlington County deputies have arrested a man accused of stealing a Carry-On brand trailer in April, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday.

James Alvin Dixon Jr. was charged with grand larceny of more than $2,000 but less than $10,000. He also had multiple failure-to-appear charges and another grand larceny charge out of Hartsville.

Dixon allegedly stole the trailer and a toolbox on April 2 on Harry Byrd Highway in the Darlington area, arrest warrants show. He was arrested on Monday.

Dixon was booked into the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center and was denied bond.
