    1 injured, taken to hospital after Socastee house fire

    SOCASTEE, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was taken to the hospital after a house fire in Socastee Friday morning, an Horry County Fire Rescue Facebook post said.

    Fire rescue teams responded at 5:22 a.m. to the 4000 block of John Luther Road. One home was damaged, and three residents were displaced.

    Horry County Police Department assisted, and the fire remains under investigation. Count on News13 for updates.
